Lopar

Lopar is located only 12 kilometers from the town of Rab and is also known as the “sand paradise” thanks to its numerous natural sandy beaches (which are quite rare in the Adriatic) and the many romantic, secluded coves perfect for enjoying a vacation.

Surrounded by a group of smaller islands and islets (Goli Otok, Grgur, Lukovac and Školjić – to name a few), Lopar has a lot to offer for visitors. With a tradition of tourism of over a hundred years, Lopar is also the winner of the Blue Sail Award for the best small tourist spot in Kvarner.
